Overview
About us and how to contact us
AA Games creates free-to-play games and processes your personal information when you play them. If you have any questions about how we handle your data, your rights, or if you have a concern or complaint, please contact us at ahsanazeem494@gmail.com or through our contact page.
Personal information we collect
We collect personal information directly from you — for example, when you play our games, create an account or contact support — and we also generate information about how you use our games, such as gameplay and log data. If you sign in with a third-party account, we receive certain information from that provider. We may also receive information from other third parties, such as analytics and advertising partners.
How we use your personal information
We use your information to provide, support, analyse and improve our games, and to respond to your questions. We may send you push notifications and show you ads, which may be personalised. You can stop receiving these at any time by opting out or changing your device or browser settings.
Who we share your personal information with
We rely on trusted service providers for the purposes described in this policy — for example hosting, customer support and analytics. We also work with advertising partners to show you ads. We may also share information where required by law.
Where we process your personal information
Your information may be processed by us or our service providers in different countries around the world.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, receive a copy of, correct or delete your information, to restrict how we process it, and to object to certain uses, including personalised marketing and advertising.
Changes to this policy
Any updates to this policy will be published on this page. If we make significant changes, we will let you know in-game or by other appropriate means.
Introduction
This privacy policy ("Policy") explains your choices and our practices regarding your Information (defined below). In this Policy, "AA Games", "we", "us" and "our" refer to AA Games. We decide why and how your Information is used, which means we act as the data controller for the purposes of applicable data protection laws.
"Information" means any information relating to an identified or identifiable individual. This Policy applies to Information relating to your use of our mobile and web games (the "Games") and this website. By using the Games, you acknowledge that we collect, use, store and share your Information as described in this Policy. If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use the Games. If you change your mind later, you can stop using the Games at any time and exercise your rights as set out below.
1. Personal information we collect
Information you provide to us
- Account information: such as a profile name, avatar and language preference.
- Support and contact information: when you contact us (including through our website contact form), we collect your name, email address and the content of your message, plus any details you choose to share to help us assist you — such as your player ID, device model, operating system, advertising ID or purchase records.
- In-game communications: where a Game offers chat or other player interactions, we process related information such as messages and timestamps. Some of these features may be provided by third parties, in which case we may not have access to the content.
Information collected automatically when you play
- Identifiers and device information: IP address, advertising ID, device ID, app and player IDs, approximate (country or city level) location, and device details such as model, manufacturer, language and operating system.
- Gameplay and usage information: install and uninstall dates, game events and timestamps, session length, progress and scores, interactions with ads and promotions, purchase records, and indications of cheating or use of modified versions of a Game.
Information received from third parties
- Third-party sign-in: if you sign in using a third-party account (for example Google or Apple), we receive an identifier for that account and, depending on your settings, basic profile information such as your name and email address.
- App stores and payment providers: when you make an in-game purchase, we receive transaction details such as a transaction ID, country, item purchased, currency, amount and time. We do not receive your full payment card details.
- Analytics providers: reports about in-game activity that help us improve features, balance gameplay and fix issues.
- Advertising partners: identifiers and information about your interactions with ads shown in our Games.
- Mobile measurement partners: information that helps us measure the performance of our marketing campaigns and detect fraud, such as advertising ID, IP address, approximate location and install or transaction data.
Children
Our Games are not directed at children under the age required by the laws of their country to consent to the processing of personal data (for example, under 13 in the United States, or under 13–16 in the EEA and UK depending on the country) ("Children"). We do not knowingly collect personal information from Children without appropriate consent. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at ahsanazeem494@gmail.com and we will take steps to delete it.
2. How we use your personal information
We use your Information to:
- Provide the Games: to let you create an account, play (including as a guest), save your progress, play and chat with others where available, and make and keep a record of purchases. We do this to perform our agreement with you.
- Improve and monitor the Games: it is in our legitimate interests to understand how our Games perform across devices and to make them better, using gameplay data and technical information such as device model, operating system, connectivity and available storage.
- Provide support and respond to requests: to answer your questions, resolve issues and handle complaints, including messages sent through our website contact form.
- Conduct analytics: it is in our legitimate interests to analyse how players use our Games and respond to our campaigns, including by creating aggregated or anonymised statistics, grouping players with similar interests, and predicting which features or content players may enjoy.
- Show in-game offers: to present offers and information about virtual items, which may be tailored based on gameplay, region, device and in-game interactions.
- Show advertising: to display ads for our own Games and for third-party products and services, which may be personalised to you. Where required by law, we only show personalised ads with your consent; otherwise we rely on our legitimate interests or show contextual (non-personalised) ads. You can withdraw your consent at any time through the in-game settings or your device settings, where available.
- Keep the Games safe and comply with the law: it is in our legitimate interests to protect players from abuse and illegal activity, detect and prevent fraud and cheating, enforce our terms, defend legal claims, and comply with our legal obligations.
3. Who we share your personal information with
We share your Information with the following categories of recipients:
- Other players: who can see your profile information, in-game activity and anything you choose to share with them, such as chat messages.
- Service providers: who help us operate our Games and business, such as cloud hosting and storage providers, customer support tools, email delivery services, and analytics and crash reporting providers. They may only use your Information to provide services to us.
- User acquisition partners: who help us measure the success of our marketing campaigns. We may share an identifier (such as your advertising ID) so that partners can show relevant ads to existing and prospective players.
- Advertising partners: some of our Games are supported by ads. Subject to your settings, we share advertising identifiers and related information with advertising partners so they can serve, measure and personalise ads. See the list of partners below.
- App stores and payment processors: such as Apple (App Store) and Google (Google Play), which process your payments and may use your Information in accordance with their own privacy policies. Apple's privacy policy is available on your Apple device; Google's is available at policies.google.com/privacy.
- Authorities and legal requests: where we are legally required to, or where we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to comply with the law, enforce our terms, address fraud, security or technical issues, or protect the rights, property or safety of AA Games, our players or others.
- Business transfers: if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, reorganisation, sale of assets or similar transaction, your Information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
Third-party privacy practices
If you access our Games through a third-party platform or service (for example an app store or a third-party sign-in), that service may collect information about you under its own terms and privacy policy. This Policy does not apply to third-party services, and links to them do not mean we endorse or have reviewed them.
Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your Information, and we aim to collect only what we need. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
4. Where we process your personal information
We and our service providers may process your Information in countries other than the one you live in, which may have different data protection laws. When we transfer Information from the European Economic Area ("EEA"), the United Kingdom or Switzerland to other countries, we rely on adequacy decisions where available or use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses approved by the relevant authorities.
5. How long we keep your information
We keep your Information for as long as you have an account or continue to play our Games, and then for up to three years after you stop interacting with them, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law (for example, for tax, accounting or legal purposes).
When we delete Information, we take steps to make it irrecoverable, and electronic files containing Information are permanently deleted.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live — including the EEA, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Brazil and certain US states — you may have some or all of the rights below. California residents should also see the California addendum. To exercise any of these rights, email us at ahsanazeem494@gmail.com or use our contact form. Please include your player ID and the name of the Game so we can locate your data.
- Access: you can ask for a copy of your Information and an explanation of how we use and share it. This right is not absolute — for example, we cannot disclose trade secrets or information about other people.
- Deletion: you can ask us to delete your Information. We may need to keep some Information where we have valid legal grounds to do so (for example, to defend legal claims), and we will tell you if that is the case. Where Information is held by an independent third party, such as an advertising partner or payment processor, we will take reasonable steps to inform them, but we recommend you also contact them directly.
- Objection and withdrawal of consent: you can withdraw consent you have given, or object to processing based on our legitimate interests. For example:
- Personalised ads: withdraw consent in the in-game settings, or reset or limit ad tracking in your device settings.
- Marketing emails: use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any marketing email.
- Push notifications: turn them off in your device or browser settings.
- Portability: you can ask to receive Information you provided to us in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format, or to have it transferred to another organisation.
- Correction: you can ask us to correct Information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Restriction: in certain circumstances you can ask us to limit how we use your Information.
